Interesting article.
I find this topic very difficult to deal with. I see the issues that are raised, but as a previously overweight child I know exactly what these kids go through and it was rough. I feel that these ads may be harming the kids, but the actual target markets are their parents.
It should be the parents feeling the guilt from this. It should be the school cafeterias feeling the guilt from this. I think it should be an eye opener for these parents. What are you instilling in your child? A sedantric lifestyle with a fast-food nutrition?
Yes I still love you mom and dad, but I feel that we could have made better food choices growing up.
